The Port of Portland welcomes public participation in the Hillsboro Airport Master Plan and Compatibility Study Update.

Public involvement tools to be utilized in the master plan update include the Project Advisory Committee (PAC), interactive Web site information, community surveys and questionnaires, public information workshops, annual Hillsboro Airport open houses, direct mailings, publications, presentations to community and civic groups, and airport informational classes.

PAC meetings will be scheduled in consultation with the PAC. The public is welcome to attend all PAC meetings. An opportunity for the public to submit comments to the committee will be included at each meeting.

Informational workshops, open houses, and other public meetings will be scheduled as the study progresses. The Hillsboro Airport Master Plan was completed May 2005 and adopted by the Port of Portland Commission on June 8, 2005.
