TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience and small group discussions. Shapiro’s talk focuses on personal change and encourages individuals to break free of social habits and conditional thinking. Shapiro’s presentation encourages audiences to explore their world without censorship. “Whether through drawing or dance, writing or music,” Shapiro says, “these forms of expression can untangle the untold stories and beliefs that bind us - freeing us, and leading us to our truth.”

Art at PDX is designed to illustrate the dynamic culture of the Northwest and showcase a variety of works through ongoing relationships with regional artists and organizations.
