PORTLAND, ORE. (Aug. 13, 2014) – Wait No Longer, The Waiting Game Opens at PDX

International Airport introduces The Waiting Game, an exhibit that connects
with passengers waiting for departing flights, on Concourse E through January
exhibit features sculptures made by three regional artists: Andrea
Schwartz-Feit, Jacqueline Hurlbert, and Sara Swink. This trifecta of artists'
work represents the idiosyncrasies in relationships, all expressed in the
symbolism of each figurative sculpture.
example, Hurlbert’s work incorporates large clay feet to symbolize standing
firmly against opposition. Andrea Schwartz-Feit expresses her love for the
human form using wax and pigment. Sara Swink combines human and animal
features, exploring the loss of the instinctual to the domesticated, with a
psychological stance and humorous edge.
