Construction on the new parking garage is continuing; therefore there is a reduction in the total number of spaces available in the long-term parking lot.
Over-the-roadway reader signs are now installed on the approach to the airport. They will be used to advise passengers of traffic congestion, parking availability, air quality advisories, security announcements or emergencies.
This month, work is starting on the final expansion of Airport Way west of the 82nd intersection. The projects include an extra vehicle lane in each direction of Airport Way and new landscaping to replace the trees and plants that were removed for the widening project. Road work is expected to be complete in November, and landscaping is scheduled to be in by spring 2009.
