After arriving at PDX, passengers will be directed to Passport Control. As an arriving passenger, you will be required to provide international documentation, such as a passport, and declare any items of value. The Inspections Program is responsible for ensuring that individuals entering the U.S. by land, air or sea, at any port of entry, are eligible to do so under U.S. immigration law. For more information, please visit the U.S. Customs Web site.

Shuttle Bus to Terminal
After being processed through the federal inspection area, arriving passengers will be directed to the Portland International Airport shuttle bus. The bus ride to the international arrival area will take just a few minutes. The shuttle bus will disembark on the baggage claim level opposite carousel 10. There you will find luggage carts, customer service representatives, bathrooms, and directions to car rentals, taxis, shuttle buses and light rail service.

Meeting Family, Friends and Business Associates
Meet international passengers on the baggage claim level opposite carousel 10. Audio and visual paging services are available throughout the terminal. To use these services, pick up a white paging telephone and press "0."

Currency Exchange
Located in the ticket lobby, Travelex offers currency exchange, as well as notary service, Western Union service and travel insurance. Travelex is open from 5:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., its phone number is 503.281.3045.

Foreign Language Assistance
Translation services are available through AT&T at the information booths in the baggage claim area.

There are two staffed information booths located in baggage claim with hours from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
