Sculptures grace E Concourse exhibit case

Artwork photo

Twelve regional sculptors are showing their works now at PDX. The exhibit is located just beyond the security checkpoint near Coffee People in the lobby at the E Concourse. The pieces are crafted in a variety of media – cast and fabricated metals, ceramic, stone and mixed media; they represent a broad spectrum of sculptural styles.

The Regional Arts & Culture Council and Pacific Northwest Sculptors brought the exhibit to PDX. The council presents exhibitions at the airport every six months to pique the curiosity of visitors and residents and promote further exploration of our region. Pacific Northwest Sculptors fosters the talent of local artists and hosts educational programs and exhibitions in the community.

The exhibit runs through mid-June.

HSS provides vehicle inspections and other services related to TSA-mandated directives; conducts specific and random site inspections; monitors access of people and vehicles into restricted areas at PDX; and staffs construction access gates. The company also provides vehicle escorts on the airfield to vendors and other operators; escorts arriving international passengers from the federal inspection station to baggage claim; and conducts scheduled and unscheduled site inspections.

HSS provides similar security services for Denver International Airport and Orlando International Airport.
