for our region.
Our airports, marine terminals, and business parks create opportunities for people to connect, businesses to grow, and our region to thrive.
What we do
Create regional opportunity
Our mission is to foster travel, trade, and economic development opportunities that enable people and businesses across our region to thrive. We do this by creating quality jobs, attracting and growing business, advancing global trade, and supporting tourism.
Connect infrastructure to jobs
Our three airports, three marine terminals, and six business parks serve as the foundation for everything we do. Across all our work, we generate nearly 62,000 jobs, $9.7 billion in GDP, $6.5 billion in labor income, and $530 million in local and Oregon state taxes.
Steward public priorities
As a public agency, a nine-member Commission appointed by Oregon’s Governor oversees Port activities. We are funded through our business and properties as well as public support from federal, state, and local sources. This includes grants, direct appropriations, and a small property tax assessment in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.
Creating a Region Where Everyone Thrives
We believe in a prosperous region, where all people can meet their essential needs secure quality jobs and shared market access, and achieve multi-generational wealth.
