Minimum Requirements

Businesses of all sizes contract with the Port, including small and emerging businesses. But all contractors also must meet specific safety and operational requirements. Depending on the type of work you do, you may be required to carry various types of insurance, provide a bid bond, participate in workforce training, and obtain security clearances.

Check out our small business programs.

Construction Contracts

To keep advancing our region’s travel, trade and economic development, the Port frequently builds, improves, and rehabilitates facilities on Port properties. Learn how your business can get started on construction projects and what the minimum requirements are specific to this type of work.
