Columbia Export Terminal
Wheat and other grains are major commodities for the Pacific Northwest, and Terminal 5 is the endpoint of the region's “river of grain.”
Much of Oregon’s homegrown wheat is barged down the Columbia River to Columbia Grain, doing business as Columbia Export Terminal (CET). From CET’s rapid-handling grain elevator at Terminal 5, it’s exported to communities around the world.
Portland Bulk Terminals
Millions of metric tons of dry bulk such as potash, used in fertilizer, move through Portland Bulk Terminals for Canpotex at Terminal 5 each year.
